Haiti Earthquake
Kids Against Hunger has had a presence in Haiti for many years, ever since President Préval asked us to feed a half million orphans in that impoverished country. Because we ship food into Haiti on a regular basis, there were approximately 2 million meals already on the ground there when the earthquake struck.
Since that time, our generous satellite locations have furnished 16 containers (over 4.5 million meals) of our high-nutrition food and are shipping to Haiti the week of Jan. 18 with the US Navy.
We will continue to package and send food into Haiti as long as there are hungry people there.
Everyone can be a part of the relief efforts by going to our Donate page and making a contribution. Mark it for the Haiti earthquake relief funds.
For 25 cents per meal, you can save lives.
